"It’s still warm enough for my heating to refrain from firing up. I’ll take that as a win. "
I put mine on a few days ago. My thermostat said 19.5 but I think it was lying to me.
My hands are freezing. |

"Apparently it's going to go down to 3°C tonight (!) and someone at work used the S-word
Do you live up a mountain? It's summer for crying out loud, where's the sun "
No! We live beyond the moors, on the flat bit between the hills and the coast. We're not far above sea level or actually that far FROM the sea, as the crow flies. Liverpool etc. really isn't far |

"Nanna, it's about 5°C colder here, right now, than it is with you in London! It claims 15°C in London and 10°C or 11°C here!
Have you put your thermals on? "
I'm wearing a ¾ sleeve, above knee dress and Snag flesh colour tights. I'm ambient right now and I was over hot at work.. |

"Sometimes the snow comes down in June,
Sometimes the sun goes round the moon.
Just when we thought our chance had passed,
You go and save the best for last
Tune "
I sang this to my staff at 08:00h this morning. Then they all fucked off. I don't think the two are connected. |

I'm wearing winter pyjamas with my Christmas blanket over my legs.
I must be in a draught. |

"Older people often feel the cold more.
Cheer up Nanna - at least you don't smell of wee wee yet .
Well, about that "
Awww . I take it all back. You're too lovely to be mean to, even for a gag.
Maybe you've just caught a chill? It wasn't cold here today (I'm around 60 crow fly miles from you I think). I probably even got sunburnt a bit xxxx |

I did think I was coming down with something at the weekend, but I feel ok, except for being so cold |

It may simply be your system rebalancing after flushing out the bug/virus over the weekend.
Hard work fighting off illness - the body can be a bit wobbly for a few days xxxx |

Been bloody warm on the Isle of Wight for the past couple of weeks.
Got up to about 40 degrees (yes, Celsius) in the garden earlier. The Solent acts as an insulating barrier, which keeps it warm a lot of the time. Real sleep-over-the-covers weather in the evenings, though. |

"Had my sweater on all day. Been cuddling the this evening whilst i watched a movie cos he's warm.
My girl dog is on my lap keeping my thighs warm. "
Put mine in his basket now. I need to head upstairs and dive under the duvet. |

If I say bedtime both of mine will trot upstairs to my son's room.

Am sitting here drinking whiskey and ice-cold soda, with beads of sweat on my forehead due to the heat."
We hope you don't become dehydrated due to extreme heat |

Ta! I'll try not to!
We were sitting in the beer-garden of a pub earlier on, so fluids were being topped up!"
I think I'm in a micro climate that's still winter |

I’m certainly missing wearing shorts and flip flops, somethings not right with this weather that’s for sure, I was in a bikini this day last week and been cold since until a huge walk up the river today but guessing over exertion doesn’t count So can we all do a little sun dance before lights out tonight and hopefully we will be blessed with warm sunshine tomorrow |

Down here on the Dorset coast, the morning started sunny, warm and very humid. Now it's just bloody miserable! Pissing down with rain and really rather chilly. I may actually have to put clothes on 🤨 |
