In your asleep
I get it most nights and It usually wakes me up. Sometimes it is a small twitch and sometimes I go flying.
I once read that this is caused by a drop in blood pressure as you fall asleep and your body starts to relax.
Anyone else get this

Its called a hypnic jerk , and its caused by your brain going from light sleep to deep sleep or vice versa, some people get it all the time, others only get it every now and then. |
