Hi all hope everyone is ok. So I have been here a while and although I have met with others I'm interested to kindly ask you to look at my profile and guide me if I have not done it right. Many thanks

There's no right or wrong way.

However, yours is rather sparse.

You could do with more photos, ideally one where you don't look miserable, and more about what you can offer and what you're looking for.

When I say more photos... I mean public ones.

Think about what your profile says about you. Does it portray you in a good light? Could you elaborate through pictures and text?

It's generally considered rude to jump on another person's thread.

However, the same advice can also be applied to your equality sparse profile.

Sagittarius A

It reads a bit like a keywords list. Turn it into sentences and add a little more.

What attracts me to a profile? It's being able to tell a bit about someone's personality. Will they make me laugh, do they have good conversation? Why are they here? Can I imagine what it will be like spending time with them (over a drink in the pub, or nekkid in bed).

Does your profile portray your personality? It's your 'shop window' - stop and look at your window, would you come in and have a look around?

Someone gave me an amazing bit of advice once. That was to go and check out the profiles of guys who appear to be ‘successful’ here, and figure out why that might be.

Yes.

Don't copy exactly what they've written, though. They'll find out, and it doesn't end well.

What kind of person/experience do you want to attract and how do you go about making a presentation that attracts those people and are likely to be compatible with you?

The shop window analogy is common on fab and while it does suffice I think it's a little superficial because what you are in fact doing is engaging in a sustained live marketing campaign to a demographic of your choosing.

You have photos, bio, videos, forum, cams, messaging, social events and clubs with which to choose your approach from and it's worth taking the time to explore all of those to form an approach that works for you.

Your profile doesn't need to look like anyone else's. It's the things that are unique about you that people will be drawn to.
