I had a message from a guy that was for me but unfortunately for him he wasnt for me. When I said my usual polite no thank you and explained he had missed reading a certain part of my profile that applied to him, he came back to me saying I wasnt very polite etc etc. Read all people's profiles, then no misunderstandings or nastiness need occur |

Think some people read a profile & feel they tick all the boxes & they are the one.?! When they got no reply or there message is just deleted.they tell themselves your a fake or timewaster i guess.
Just saying like as a possible reason for some people strange ways  |

I just had similar tonight. Told him no thanks as he wasn't what I was looking for. And he came back and said he fit all my criteria in my profile and why would I not meet him. I asked him to simply accept that I was not interested with good grace and he said I was full of myself!
Honestly, I don't know why I bother with a polite no thanks anymore. |

I so agree with you. sometimes im tempted to say look fuck off you dont suit me or I dont like look of you, but then we would get reported, so in the end its not worth it. We just need to keep being polite, I just have had the one rude one in the whole time ive been here - see previous post  |

When I get a 'why not?' type reply to a polite 'no thanks' I fall back on what my mum used to say to me when I was little 'cos I said so'. I don't see that I should have to explain myself and I don't!  |

It frees me up to let rip - i do generally give a civil warning shot, but after that they can't complain they didn't expect it from me cos it's right there in front of them!
