OK I can't get my head round people saying they would travel 500 odd miles to meet me and hubby. Realistically what's the furthest you would travel for fun cause surely that's too far for a shag lol |

I’ll travel up to an hour ish, for a social or a meet. That’s my limit so if a guy wants to make up the rest of the distance that’s up to him.
I have met guys from all over the country for socials x |

I love driving, and if through talking I felt that person was someone I would have a great time with in and out of the bedroom, I don't see distance as much of a barrier.
I probably would go much more than 1.5 hours just for a hookup though.
Strangely however, I think I would go further just to hang out. |

I did embark on a risky two hour away meet once, turned out well though.
Yes local maybe easier, but you never know who you’ll find if you broaden your distance criteria |

I've travelled up to an hour .... and would only want someone travelling an hour max
That way no one is under pressure to play if turns out in person that you don't want to play. |

Back in the day I would travel a lot for work and often found myself making significant detours for a hookup.
Based solely on your profile pic I’d definitely have scheduled a trip to Montrose, or somewhere moderately adjacent like Carlisle or Berwick *wink*
These days I prefer to stay closer to home and keep my carbon footprint smaller. |

As someone has already posted, I have travel half the length of the country for a meet with someone I already know, and have met previously. If you know the person is worth it, then why would you not travel to see them, sure you can just keep it local, but when you already have a connection with a person and you know they are reliable then I can't see any problems with people traveling to meets. |

It always makes me laugh when a guy says they will travel down to me from somewhere like Manchester, I always say their are far more attractive people in-between or more locally to him.
Don't get me wrong, in a world I was still meeting and I genuinely had a strong sexual chemistry with someone and they lived quite far away, I'd consider it but I am also acutely aware they would expect a sex marathon but I'm more of "we've cum, can we just eat snacks and snuggle" after |

We have travelled quite a fair distance once we’ve met. We had a regular FWB who we travelled over 3 hours to each others house, but we’d spend the weekend or 4 days there.
The right people are worth travelling for.

Once drove 300 miles each way from El Centro to Tucson to have a FFM weekend for my birthday several years ago. I had met both ladies (who were friends) previously. I did wear them both out.

That is interesting cos mine, with longer term partners (a lover for three years and a FWB), were the furthest distances, and the more local ones have been short term (more than a one off).
However, it would have been easier if the FWBs were more local (definitely the reason for the relationship with the FWBs in Norwich finishing was because of distance). |

I've travelled 150 miles for fun...but I've stayed all day long and even a had a few night time stop overs with a few different people but they've also returned the favour and stayed over with me .
If you're only intending to f@ck and go stay local as your fuel and travel bills will go through the roof |

If it was just sex? Not particularly far, there's no need to. I don't live too far from quite a big city and there are some beautiful people there.
If it's for someone I'm fond of/a very dear friend, I'd happily travel a fair bit further. |

I wouldn't even travel 1 mile for "just sex"
To meet someone I got on with and wanted, distance isn't an issue. I want someone I want. Not someone that's convenient.

For a first meet, not far as I'd only do a social anyway.
In the past when I was single, I went to Liverpool to meet someone I knew and also Leicester.
I'd met both of those a few times though.
I also wouldn't want anyone to travel too far to me, as I feel they'd expect more than just a drink and chat. |

Our first meet ever was 100 miles away.
We'd built up a rapport, cammed etc, so when it came time to make fantasy a reality we booked a hotel and made a weekend of it.
We plan on heading out to clubs further afeild, and hope to make friends in advanced, although I dont think that really counts.
One guy asked if he could fly over from Chicago to take Jayne lingerie shopping, with zero expectations of actually playing, and when we challenged him he sent us pics of tickets he was going to buy if we gave him the green light (we didnt), so thats 3,900 miles.  |

I think if connection was that great...then really i could as far as needed...
Especially nowdays you can get very cheap flights..
So probably would be cheaper to fly to a place 800 miles away then to drive to a place 50 miles away |

As someone who travels with work I have met from Aberdeen to Cornwall.
I usually search my post code +500 miles. I have strict filters on for what I am looking for so only shows a few pages at most. |

Less the travel I have an issue with, more everything else around it. Taking time off work, getting pets looked after, booking somewhere to stay over, and cost. Most of those things don't matter as much if it's someone you definitely connect with. I'd be loathe to make the effort and realise in 10mins of meeting it wasn't a match. |

London is the furthest I've travelled but it wasn't for a first meet and it definitely wasn't only for a sex meet for a few hours. If I'm travelling a long way, I want to make sure it's worth the journey. |

Depends entirely on the person I’m speaking to. If I did have to travel quite far I’d probably make it a weekend getaway and do some sightseeing (they don’t have to be with me to do that)
There’s a few profiles on here that have caught my attention. Not just because they’re insanely hot but I like the way they conduct themselves in the forums. |
