I discovered something new today .... You can get charged by the police for calling someone a bastard or the likes through a text.Tut tut what is the world coming to these days......

Yep its true.The police told me this today in person.if someone reports to them you sent a txt calling them a name like bastard then you can get charged with it.

txts like that would only ever be used if there was a history of threats and such or any other incidents and the receiver was feeling threatened by them.

Would be taking up a lot of time effort and money for a one off name calling so i wouldn't worry too much.
