Best motorway services?

somewhere

Yes I'm that bored and since I'm driving to Cornwall soon, I'm interested who has the best services..

Although very close to home, Cobham is my favourite, has loads of places to eat for a start.

Anyone else got a services they just like for no apparent reason and even though 20 mins for home, will always stop off for a coffee or just us lol

Central

I'd avoid motorway driving for overpriced services, until the situation arises when I'm traveling and there's little choice.

Tebay is good

Maldon and Peterborough

There's one on the M40 (near Silverstone) that's very good.

.

I stopped at one on the M11, the other day, which was a nightmare to get out of.

Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Havant

I like Hopgood services - it’s almost halfway between Havant and Kirby Lonsdale

Plus a good place to relieve one’s bladder

You're driving to Cornwall so you maybe go through Honiton on the way they have local services that are quite nice Boston tea party, Costa, Marks and Sparks at the petrol station worth a visit

Wantage

haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one that refers to them in that manner when I pass by!

The ones on M6 in the Lake District are good, all a bit trendy, locally sourced produce!

Do not go to Bridgewater Services on the M5, the worse services in the uk....in my humble opinion...

Cherwell Valley…..the Gridserve chargers there are superb!

Oxford and Beaconsfield services are good, and I can give another big thumbs up for Cobham

Tebay on the M6 in Cumbria is outstanding - the farm shop has to be seen to be believed.

Falme

The "best one" from an aesthetic one is actually the Gotthard North in Switzerland. However €6 for a double espresso and €2 to use the toilet means it's just there to look pretty.

Tebay heading home on M6 northbound.

Is the Gloucester one similar farmers owned set up?

Stockport

Route 69 Club in Weston-super-mere When I was regularly travelling to and from Cornwall I always tried to schedule my journeys around the club opening times. It's close enough to the M5 that it's not an onerous diversion. The entrance fee includes free coffee and biscuits, and some days a buffet of cold meats, cheeses, salad, bread etc. For ladies and TVs it's cheaper to go there than it is to buy a coffee and sandwich at the service stations.

And at Route 69 I can sit at the bar in my sexy lingerie and 4 inch heels, chat with the lovely ladies that run the place, and maybe even find somebody to get frisky with in one of the playrooms...

It’s owned by the same family. The Gloucester one is actually better than Tebay.

Two years ago stopped at one with. Kids, small but kind of modern, seemed nice.

Mind blown with Pizza Hut counter and we each got four slices
