I am not sure you could single out a single historical figure who made the biggest impact there have been too many that have changed the course of history.
I think whoever discovered fire majorly changed the game for humanity to evolve but that could have been several “people” across continents.
Maybe Oppenheimer because his invention despite being a “team effort” has made conventional war with the nuclear powers has become obsolete without mutually assured destruction.
If that did happen the Earth and humanity would not be the same for generations. |

I think it is more recent than that
I have seen a sea change in humanity in my lifetime
I would argue those who facilitated and popularised social media in return for profit
I would also argue big business and the governments that prop them up |

I was originally going to say Jesus, but we don't know how accurately his words have been supported. Christianity as we know it today was defined and spread by St Paul more that Jesus, so I'm going to say St Paul. |
