Weve had a few winks sent that when we return them maybe with a message along the lines of thanks for the wink you hear no more ever.....just seems odd to show interest then nothing....have others found this? |

It's a lot of things, including conflicting expectations and changed needs. Some are relatively fickle and find other new, shiny things that attract them.
A few want near immediate response to any contact and get in a huff when they perceive they're ignored, etc. |

Yes had this happen to us a couple of times - could be for an array of differing reasons but we respect and understand that them not replying back to a message is a response in itself.
Don't really give it a second thought and move on

Yeah happens a lot of the time. I dunno why people will send a wink, the point is show you are interested and want to talk |

Winks to me are like fabbing pics. It might just be because they like your profile or pics, it doesn't necessarily mean they want to meet.
If they're genuinely interested in meeting, they'll message you |
