It's cheese, bread, and tomato sauce. I defy you to tell how any of the constitutes the worst food in the world! |

"Give me the poppadoms!!
... " I've yet to meet Indian people who use popadoms as a starter rather than an as an accompaniment to a main dish.
I reckon the starter usage was thought up be restaurants as a time waster while the main dishes are being prepared.
I've had waiters trying to take them away if I haven't eaten them before the curry arrives. |

"Out of them three, Chinese. But what do you order in the Chinese?
Chinese food
do you think in China they just call it food?
At a wild guess, yes.
How informative "
Surely the Chinese call food 'Chow'?
When I phone to order my Special Chow Mein, I identify myself as Special Chow Frank, as they know that is my 'go to' main meal in one dish. |

Nope, I'm the same, not a fan. I'll eat it occasionally but I'd rather not. Unless it's a make your own thing from Morrisons |

"Is prefer Lebanese or mexican, something new and very different "
Mexican is a strange one. Initially I was in the Billy Connolly school of thought, that all Mexican food was the exact same, they just folded it differently. Then I went to a proper quality Mexican restaurant in New York and realised how good it can be.
Agreed re Lebanese. Great stuff, and doesn’t need to be expensive to get good quality stuff, like Maroush / ranoush in London. |

"Out of them three, Chinese. But what do you order in the Chinese?
Too much as usual, and they always ask me “anything else?” So I have to add another dish. "
I always saw the “anything else” but as “seriously? More? Surely that’s everything?”
Kevin bridges did a piece on this where he’s half way through a massive order and gets “anything else” so stops, and has to apologise to his dad, saying sorry pal, you didn’t make it, I got anything elsed. |
