I fucking loved that performance. This isn't an emotional take, but I really don't want Ten Hag sacked. Some of his tactics have been questionable but between injuries and the current manager market, I don't see how it's worth it |

"Trolling Man Utd fans in here is one of life’s simple pleasures.
So I’m just gonna say it. Well done Man Utd credit where it due.

Even before today I felt he should be given until next season and judged on 3 years work not just this season where injuries to our centre backs and left backs cost us putting in a stronger challenge for 4th maybe even getting 4th.

"City didn't turn up on the day and Utd deserved it..
Almost like Pep's lot thought it was a done deal..
My thoughts exactly.
It's like they're champions and they're invincible.
Oops"

I can't quite believe I'm defending the enemy here, but they became successful by having a good manager, a good team and lots of fans. The billionaires broke all that and took millions out of the club.
City and Chelsea were average at best before the billionaires came in and bought success, just as Newcastle are trying to do.
Much as I should hate Man Utd, these are very different types of club. |

"Why are there Utd fans from London, never understood not supporting your local team" . I can’t speak for every Cockney Red fan but with regards to myself.I grew up in a era where the only live game was the FA cup final. There was a big build up to the game from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm kick off.It showed the history of the clubs and the great players of yesterday year.As a nine year watching this build up of the 1977 final I was fascinated by the story of the Busby Babes and how Sir Matt Busby rebuilt the club after Munich in 1958.Then it showed the clips of Bobby Charlton , Dennis Law and George Best and that was it I was rooting for Man Utd in the 1977 FA cup final. Also as only been 9 years old when I heard that Man Utd won the European Cup what is now the Champions League in 1968 and I was born in 1968 it just seemed right for me.It’s amazing what football can do to you when you are 9.

I can kinda understand supporting a team from elsewhere often people support who their dad supported ect but I never understood how it had to come with a hatred for their local team, i grew up with a group of mates which had Liverpool, Arsenal, Leeds and Man U supporters and every one of them hated the toon |

As above.
I supported Liverpool after seeing them in the 1971 Cup Final. I was too young to understand that they lost.
I'm not from Liverpool but still supported them three years later, at the age of 8, therefore I will do for the rest of my life.
For some reason I've always thought a 7 year old might be allowed to change teams cos they're so young. 8 year olds who change their allegiance should be cast out of society, never to be forgiven.
I don't make the rules. |

I'm a Leeds supporter and I have no connection with the club or city or country at all.
Local football over here when I was growing up was the equivalent of Sunday league level.
All my friends supported Man Utd or Liverpool and like many other things I was never influenced by peer pressure so I started following Leeds which wasn't easy when there was nothing more than Match of the Day for info. That was in the early 70s. |
