I've just tried it out of curiousity.. the WiFi network I tried was an NHS one in an hospital.. no password needed.
Is it risky for hackers accessing?
I couldn't find out the settings to see if it's encrypted |

I would have thought the providers would ensure some form of security "
The internet providers of your phone company?
I'd never access fab, access my banking app or do anything remotely sensitive on public Wi-Fi and I've got full virus protection on all my devices. |

Anology being a public toilet but they provide cubicles with a bolt, I'd have thout public WiFi provider would provide VPN connection or something? |

Using anything via the device is sharing information IE data... So your device data depending how you have it setup on your device
They'll collect information as it's the most valuable asset than cash |
