The list of countries, cities and resorts rebelling against over tourism and d*unken English behaviour is rising. Mallorca, Majorca, Ibiza, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Seville, Venice and the list goes on and on. Is it time to boycott these places. Often they bite the hand that feeds them. Nothing wrong with the traditional English seaside. Scarborough, Bridlinton, Cromer, Southend, Brighton, Bournemouth, Torquay and Tenby.

Stick to England and all it has to offer and these places will soon be asking the English back. What's going on here. It's all over the news ..

I think most people go abroad for the sun , if it was as guaranteed here as abroad I think more people would stay in the UK. Also it's often cheaper to go abroad than holiday in the UK.

There's often an inverse correlation between rowdy behaviour and spending a lot of money.

I'm sure readers from these places will welcome this boycott. And louts can enjoy Blackpool or whatever.

I don't blame them banning pissed up louts. Why do some people need to get shit faced and make a scene to enjoy themselves. I hate the English piss heads when I am on holiday they spoil it for everyone else and seem to go out of their way to be annoying. Stay in Southend or local equivalent.

couple, us we him her.

I think these countries are well within their rights to want people to act like civilised human beings.

Christ sake you only have to go to the airport and see how Brit's act at 5:30am on a Tuesday morning getting wankered in spoons and that's BEFORE they've even got to their holiday destination.

We intentionally book places that are not frequented by British yobs and include families and women in this.

We try to ensure very few English speakers when we go away.

The only other nationality we've witnessed acting even close to the British and Irish are Russians.

I once was in a restaurant in Barcelona where I heard a group of English tourists telling off their mate for trying to encourage Spaniards to speak Spanish in Spain. (Yes I know Catalan, but they were reading from a menu that offered English, Spanish, or Russian. Their mate had the nerve to attempt to read from the Spanish page)

I've never been to a party island, never really interested me in the slightest, I mean there is no harm in having a few and having fun but not to the extreme some of the Brits seem to have.

I've been ridicule in the past because I have fancied a pint at 5am when flying from Gatwick, yes I'm on holiday but I don't need to be shit faced the whole time lol.

Doughnut is very good at picking up the language, if he doesn't know he will ask how you say something, we are going to try learning some more when we go back to Rhodes next year, it's just the little touches I think (ok, he said that not me lol) but it's true, if you can order something in Greek, after all, if they came here they would do the same in English, we should x

It seems reasonable to impose some realistic limits, which doesn't mean banning the tourists. I'm unsure that some of the Spanish limits are right though. All inclusive packages should include a good generous allocation. We do need to increase our respect for others and behavioural standards

It's not really about d*unken behaviour and people walking around in their bathing suits. It's more to do with the apartments being bought up and let out and locals not being able to buy property where they live. Also huge hotel complexes being built on beaches that were once idyllic are now no longer so. On top of that all inclusive holidays do tend to keep people in the resort and they don't venture out to spend money as much as they used to.

Uk is no different really. Just look at the house prices in Cornwall. Empty during the winter and heaving in the summer with locals having to move out of the area because of the prices and lack of year round jobs. At least one prime minister tried to keep Jobs there with public money going to Westland helicopters but since then it's been left to fend for itself

I lived in Cyprus for a while, the d*unken crowds are a nightmare - the things that they get up to are beyond belief ! climbing out of accommodation windows, setting things on fire, one of the apartment blocks had some lads that set the curtains on fire and jumped out the windows cheering !!! yea can see why they are not wanted.

Its hard to holiday in this country if you want the weather - its not guaranteed, and its also sooooo expensive!!

When I was a teenager and we visited Europe, we were told not to tell people from Australia because we were worried they'd hear Austria and speak to us in more German than we could handle. We learned pretty quickly that England wasn't a good alternative.

We settled on New Zealand.
