I know we’re all looking for the closest and local people on here to chat and meet up with. I’ve always been a bit more relaxed about distance and if I wanted to meet someone further away I would if I really wanted too.
My question is how far would you be comfortable travelling to meet someone without any guarantees you’re going to be having sex or even have somewhere to sleep if things aren’t what you both hoped for…

For a first meet, it's a social only so prefer locals.
I wouldn't travel too far unless I'd met someone before &. Had some sort of trust.
There seems to be many people who waste others time judging by all the threads I've seen.
When I'm meeting, I meet nearby for a drink or coffee, if they stand me up I haven't lost much. |

Distance isn't a factor for me... if I really want to spend time with someone, platonically or otherwise I'd find a way to make it work.
Over two hours? I wouldn't do that in a day so I'd have my own hotel room booked. There's never any guarantee of sex, never expectation or pressure of sex with me, regardless of distance travelled. |

Our ex FWB lived 4 hours away - we used to spend weekends or 4 days together around once a month.
A lady friend drives 2 hours to see us and spend the night - she lives with children so we can’t stay at hers but we’d be prepared to travel for her.
For the right people we travel and they travel to us.

I don't drive so I don't travel to meets, but I don't as a rule meet anyone that is more than 30ish miles away, the exception being of I have met them at a club.

Really doesn’t bother me. I meet so few people and travel so much that anywhere is fine when I’m really interested I’ll travel.
But if it’s just for sex, nothing else then I prefer local & ideally they come to me.I don't see the point of traveling very far just for sex. |

Unless I knew them really well, I probably wouldn't leave my city.
And it kind of depends how much effort they're putting into the "relationship".
I think far more men are willing to travel, than women. And I've never really understand why they'd do it? Like why can't you find someone local? Why do need to travel a hundred miles or more for a shag? It's a bit weird. |

35 miles is what I deemed as fair.
But try and keep it 15 ish miles.
However, if we click and seems worth the trip then as long as its only a car drive away I don't mind. As I would make a day out of it. |

I was going to be all eloquent about it but...OP, dear fellow, it's when you can't find a half-decent crumpet in your neck of the woods and nearly all of those that tick your boxes, in addition to those who ruffle their plumage at you, are just too motherfucking far away. It's a pain in the arse when your favourite totty or two (or three) require all the planning of a military manoeuvre just to get your end away. |
