I use a silicone one that does the cock and balls.

There are some good silicone ones on Amazon that are one long piece of silicone with a bead or two on them, so you can adjust them to size, either loop everything, or loop your balls and cock separate.
I found many complete rings to be too small and uncomfortable for longer sessions, and for that reason metal definitely out.
