Not sure if it's the reality of having no job catching up with me etc but I'm a tad emotional today

Just got stupidly upset that my hair dye didn't work how I wanted It to and now I'm upset because my sister's have planned a whole day, including shopping for my dads birthday dinner tomorrow, without including me!

I know it's stupid to get upset about these things but I am

It's not stupid. I would be very upset if my hair wasn't how I wanted it and very hurt if my family had behaved how yours had. I know from long and hard experience what having no job can do to a person emotionally so I will say stay as string as you can, allow yourself the odd day when you feel like you do today and don't best yourself up about it. I really hope you feel better about everything remember very little ensures.

Oh Evie, you are allowed to be emotional you are going through a bit of a pants stage with not having a job and you are allowed moments where the most little things become major things in our brain... You will be ok angel xxx

Evie !

You have the power to rationalise your thoughts and associate recent events with them.

That suggests that you are, indeed, just having one of them days where things to get on top of you.

We all have them and we all have moments of self doubt and self worth.

As long as you have more positive days than negative ones, you are on the right track and things WILL work themselves out.

Chin up x

Its not stupid. Id be upset if my hair went wrong, but be more upset if I was left out of family things like that. I have no siblings and always used to think I was unlucky until I hear about things like this and am glad its just me to take all the flak with my mum. Hard work though being only one. I hope you sort it out and keep your chin up maybe you could ask them why they have left you out? x

Herts

Being left out of family plans IS hurtful. The hair dye would just be the cherry on top of a bad time.

I wouldn't worry about being emotional, it happens to all of us. One time I got so stressed and frustrated being out of work that I cried because I couldn't find my headband.

It's an exhausting experience.

I get that my little sister is down for the weekend and we don't see get much but every other weekend the middle One asks me to do stuff with her, why not today??

My dad days I should tell her how it had made me feel but I feel do childish!! 'you didn't Ask me to come play with you boo hoo hoo'

The fact that they walked past me as I was sat inter window (with my back to them admittedly) has annoyed me to!

Now I feel like they are going to take all the glory for our day with Dad because I didn't Go and buy any of the food.

God sound like such a child!!!!

In a crisp poke on the A814

There is nothing childish about feeling like that after what your sisters have done!!

But I would be asking them why?

Not in an upset way, in a WTF way!!!

Seriously Evie, unless there are problems with you and your sisters, I would ask!

Could it be that they are trying to save you the cost? Only you know your sisters and your dad is right, you should be asking them. Asking us wont really give you an answer

On my parents 50th wedding anniversary I took champagne and chocolates round in the morning and left it as a surprise and hung a banner on their gate, when I went round later to see them I discovered they had gone out to lunch with my brother and his family . Although I was 49 years old at the time I went home in tears. I understand how you feel and I never did ask my mum and dad why they did it
