From the land of haribos.

Well done to man city, they are my team and it is now confirmed that they have won the premier league with 2 points and it is the 4th year in a row that they have won it too.

Its been a good season and a exciting one too, it came down to the wire.

I like it more when it is close, as you dont know who will win it, they have been playing really good, how do you think that the football season have been this year?

I’ve not watched much of the football Shag, but agree, it’s been an exciting title race this year. Unusual for it to be a 3 way fight up until Liverpools hiccup. Dips in for for all 3 teams. But as always….City hit their straps at just the right time, as they seem to do year in year out.

City fan with a controversial opinion.

Won’t be upset when pep goes. It’s boring winning everything.

It’ll spice things up again to dip a bit and have to claw our way back to the top.

Don’t shoot me.

A refreshing opinion.

I’d like to see differing winners, but with the retention of the high quality on show. I fear with Jurgens departure, that Liverpool will fall off the pace for a year or two, and I don’t see Arsenal being able to maintain the standard that pushed the race so closely.

Hard not to bet on City taking the titles of the next couple of seasons

Suspect that will happen when Pep leaves. Although in his post match interview he was suggesting he might talk to the owners next season about a new contract. If he does go, it will be impossible to replace him.

Very correct. I just enjoy watching football at the highest level. I enjoy that possession based play. City are on my doorstep so might as well go see em play.

I’d honestly prefer the top 10 to interchange much more from season to season. There’s such a gap building between the top 3-4 and the rest of the league.

Monopolies aren’t good for anything. This includes sports

I’d hate to be the guy that tries to follow pep or klopp.

Big shoes indeed.

To be honest, I find the Premier League boring when it's the same team winning it.

The last time I found the top tier remotely exciting was when Leicester City won it, and I'm not even a Leicester fan.

The transfer system also needs a shake-up, I reckon.

Just to make it interesting, I reckon the winners should start with a points deduction that's equal to the difference in points between first and second place finishes, which would mean Man City start on -2 points next season. It'd also make it more of a challenge for teams that run away with the league title

I’m not sure about points handicaps but some sort of spending limit for the whole league would be welcome.

The points handicap was just something off the top of my head, tbf. I was just trying to think of a way to make it a bit more challenging for clubs that have greater spending power and are able to buy the more premium-priced players.

I agree with a spending cap though

It's been a great season, just a shame City's I rivalled money won it again.

Whatever happens going forward regarding Pep, it will always be tainted due to the 114 FFP breaches lingering over their head.

My mate who's a blue laughs about the whole Everton and Forest points deduction, and says "they should of got better lawyers!" Which sums it up perfectly. They got out of the Fifa sanctions due to a paperwork error, and unfortunately I can see them doing the same with the FA!

Lifelong Arsenal fan here, I’m not sad, we threw our season away against Fulham and possibly villa, what pep has done is changed the game, for the better I might add, look at players who don’t play in traditional positions, this is total football and if we want to win in Europe or at international level this is required, Foden has been outstanding, Rodri has proved why he is captain, there’s a lot of teams in the prem this season who have played some very watchable football, long may it continue

The only way Manchester City won't win a 5th consecutive PL title next season is if they sign Harry Kane.
