"Banjo, drifter chocolate cigarettes."
Do you remember sweet tobacco?
I think it was coconut strands with a heavy lacing of sugar and came in a rectangle block as the rolling tobacco did in the day.
Not seen it since the early '80s |

"Cabana.
I'm not a fan of coconut in chocolate confectionery but somehow in this case the coconut paired well with the cherry pieces."
This has to be the best discontinued chocolate bar ever absolutely amazing. |

"Not sure if they have been discontinued, but I haven't see a walnut whip in years.
I've seen them in a few corner shops
No doubt they are smaller than they used to be..."
And they are now just made in moulds. They are not made individually. |

"Cadburys Mint Crisp
They still sell them in certain Sainsbury's in the world foods section (randomly)!
What? Really? I love them. If you see one will you get me one please YOLO? "
Deal!
Also, from a previous thread I learnt that Topics no longer exist. Another for the 'bring them back' list. |

Go to Ireland, they are in every corner shop. For some reason there is a much larger range of cadbury bars at home.

Oh... I used to love a Fuse bar.
And the Boost bar, before they changed them.
The thing I miss most though, is being taken into the sweet shop by my Grandad, when he used to collect me from primary school on a Thursday. Not every week, I'll point out, but every so often. And I was allowed to choose which sweeties I wanted. Normally 2oz of something weighed out from the big plastic jars, into the metal pan on the scales, then funnelled into a small white paper bag.
Then we'd walk home, my little hand in his. Sometimes, in the summer, I would choose an ice lolly instead.
I miss him and my Nanna so much. I wish I could speak with them again and give them cuddles and kisses. |

I remember them times. A 1/4 of sweet peanuts or the little pips as you got loads of them. Plus getting a 10p bag of pick and mix whilst old bill watches whilst smoking a cigarette and you couldn’t even sneak in an extra banana or prawn. Stealing one pence worth of sweets then was a hanging offence I think lol |
