The original proposition of man Vs bear is nothing more than something that gained traction on the internet. No one in their right mind would choose a bear over a man. Everyone would choose the man every time because the bear is going to kill everyone it meets. It's literally a bear.
People have, and I am aware I'm now falling into this rubbish myself, used this internet trend as a way to highlight the dangers men present and the fear some women feel around them.
Of course women should feel some apprehension around strange men. We're physically stronger and in some cases were aggressive. I've been invited into the houses of women I haven't met and I've been careful to park my car round the corner, and I've been wary just in case there's some guy in there. It's just normal sensible behaviour to be wary of men.

I very rarely get angry. Even less so demanding. Can't recall the last time I was aggressive.
Nor do I do gyms or lift weights.

The original proposition of man Vs bear is nothing more than something that gained traction on the internet. No one in their right mind would choose a bear over a man. Everyone would choose the man every time because the bear is going to kill everyone it meets. It's literally a bear.
People have, and I am aware I'm now falling into this rubbish myself, used this internet trend as a way to highlight the dangers men present and the fear some women feel around them.
Of course women should feel some apprehension around strange men. We're physically stronger and in some cases were aggressive. I've been invited into the houses of women I haven't met and I've been careful to park my car round the corner, and I've been wary just in case there's some guy in there. It's just normal sensible behaviour to be wary of men.
So when someone chooses the bear, I think bleurgh. You're just making a point that doesn't need to be made. Kind of like this point I'm making that didn't need to be made either.
Why should it be accepted as normal sensible behaviour to be wary of men? Why can't men control their emotions?
Do you not see that by claiming it's all just drama you're doing the exact thing many women use as a reason for choosing a bear? You're not believing them and their hypothetical choice!

Because we can't. And haven't throughout the entire history of human evolution. Men are fuelled by testosterone. It pushes us forward. To think that all of a sudden men are going to not be aggressive, angry, demanding etc, is to not know men. And as a man, I know men are like this. Go to a gym and watch the men lift weights. Every one grits his teeth with aggression.
Sooooo.... To choose the bear is bollocks. It's moot. Men are like men. Women are like women. And bears are like bears.

For my part as a man I am careful around men and women. Yes men can be a problem, but I've not had an issue since school.
5 years ago I had a big issue with a woman on another site who stalked me, became demanding and I really am happy I never got to the point of taking her home.
