Do you find it easier to talk to strangers about problems you have or to someone close to you??...
I tend to speak to those that are close to me.. However I have had brilliant advice off a complete stranger and acted on that advice which had an positive effect.. |

Depends on the problem, but never in a public forum...
If I wanted forum advice, i would look for a forum that dealt with the problem i was having.. |

"I dont ever discuss my problems I find it best to work things out alone "
I keep my own counsel. I don't mind helping others out with difficulties in their lives, but tend to like to work through stuff myself. And if it's medical, there's always the internet lol |

I would go for advice from someone I felt close to and trusted if I needed, as I would have no problem with a friend coming to me for advice, but I would'nt open up to someone I didn't know and if im going to be honest if it was someone on here I would sooner them not tell me their problems either, I wouldn't feel comfy dishing out advice to someone I didn't know well as I wouldn't feel I was in the position to help them, not knowing them |

Having always been a very private person I discuss my life only with my closest friends, however over the past few weeks I have learnt that getting advice from a stranger who is completely unbiased is actually helpful and sometimes what is needed.
I also would never ever publicise my problems on the Internet but can see why some people do, their life so their choice and whatever helps them. |

A problem shared is a problem halved... However some find it effctive to deal with it on their own... "

I hate those people that use Facebook status updates to air all their problems.Really pees me off.
On a serious note if you spoke with professional counsellors about your problems they would be strangers but very skilled and impartial. Just a thought. |

I have an person i talk to i met her on a poker website got chatting and been friends now for about 2 years. we talk about everything although never met. She came up from London last year to Manchester on bussines, we were planning on meeting but at the last hour we decided not to as we probably would of ended up closer than planned and we both felt the relationship wouldnt have been made better by doing that. So its been 2 years we talk about everything but have never met. |

I prefer, if I can depending on what the problem is, talk to my kids or a close friend on here. I wouldn't talk it over with my mum as she just turns it round to being all about her and it doesn't then solve the problem just gets me annoyed |

"I dont talk to anyone about my problems, wish i could but i dont like to be a burden to anyone "
You should do but if you really cannot, write it down, however you want, who cares about spelling and grammar, no-one is going to read it except you, just say it how it is |
