If someone has messaged you before, when you click on their profile you can see the first line of the last messages you exchanged... And if you click on them, you can see the whole conversation!
No more searching through the sent messages to see what was said.

Is that any profile you've messaged in time or recently ?
Or
Does it have to be a message exchange
Is this for site supportsrs only or everyone ? |

Just looked at someone I messaged 10 months ago and the message preview wasn't there , so it either has a time limit or maybe when you delete the message it deletes it from preview |

It's an interesting 'feature'. I've clicked on two random profiles from my Høtlïst:
The first one, from 5 weeks ago, shows the entire conversation.
The second one, from 15 weeks ago, shows my last message.
I'm going to carry on using my 'unofficial method' to read old messages, which I won't divulge here...  |

We like it, definitely helps to quickly remember where things had got to and if it's worth going there again, without having to trawl through messages and hoping fab hasn't already lost them.
And then a forum notification like you say would be pretty helpful too... that way if something warranted a response, it could potentially be answered sooner, rather than catching up with it too late and realising the thread has moved on |

I really like it! It can be annoying sometimes finding the conversation.
I also really like because some people greet me so beautifully and now I can read it on their profile and that tickles me.
So much better than the nonsense previous implementation. |

Not sure, I've seen people that have messaged from years ago... But I often delete the sent messages, so that might make a difference |

Maybe. I'm going to stop deleting sent messages now. I often remember people's faces and if we chatted before but can't remember what was said, so this is handy! |

If you could, I'd totally start a thread like "What do people think of David Attenborough?" and when there are enough positive comments I'd just edit it to like, Adolf Hitler or something. |
