Southwick

Previous occupants of my flat have painted over window frames, ceramic wc, internal windows etc with emulsion.

I don't just mean they have just been a bit sloppy and painted the edges, it's the whole thing. Insane.....

Preparation always the key. Good to hear you're doing things correctly.

At you can look at it afterwards and know you put the effort in. Too many people just go over what's there already and probably think it looks ok.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

Recently had my bathroom remodelled, had to have lead wires replaced in the electric wiring (think Faraday originally wired my house), boiler replacement showed up some other electrical faults in the kitchen and found my cooker had been live for 13 years, bathroom floor had to be raised to level it out which meant there wasn't room for the shower cabin so the ceiling had to be taken out - the £7k I'd budgetted for the work ended up as nearly £9k - had to do a lot of ratching down the back of the sofa to find the extra funds!

How's it looking? Is the shower big enough for (at least) two?

Looking great thanks Steve, sorting decorater to finish the ceiling while I'm on holiday next week and the shower has had 2 in it with no problems, and I reckon could take 3 (if I'm lucky)

Too cold for that. Give a couple more weeks hopefully, and I may give that a go....
