When you've had a crap day

What do you recommend or do to cheer yourself up?
Today has been a waste of my breath and energy and would best to be erased from history.
Anyone got a TARDIS so I can go back and just sleep all day?! |

Sorry to hear OP.
I usually watch one of my favourite films or an episode of a TV series that I particularly like.
If that doesn't work plan B is to go to the gym and unleash my anger on the punchbag |

I'll hopefully be going to the gym after work tomorrow, but I need to get through that first |

I struggled today, first day home on my own (I'm thankful I had the cats there tbh) since our holiday, post holiday blues have set in, plus I also had a sad reality of how my life has changed over the last few months, so yeah, felt very tearful today. I'm also so unmotivated to do exercise too which doesn't help.
But I decided to get the hoover out, moved some bits around in the lounge, cooked my lunch and dinner so I wasn't dwelling and I feel a tad better.
Hope your day ends better OP, tomorrow is a new day x |

I had a similar day on Tuesday.
I blasted my car radio all the way to my Lovers house, let my self in, made myself a cocktail and waited for him to arrive. We ordered a delivery food and then went upstairs for a few orgasms. Felt much better!(we had planned a meet for that evening) |

A walk with my dog in the fresh air with my favourite music blasting in my headphones always helps to cheer me up. Then a hot shower, fresh pyjamas, light a few candles and a few episodes of a favourite tv programme |

Is there room for 2 in the bath? It's days like today when I miss having one. We only have a shower in the new house |

Look at vids of cute puppies with overly long ears and paws that are too big for them.
If that's too cute and you need some Schadenfreude, watch a video of a jaguar messing up a cayman.
Eat crisps for either/both . |

I'm not sure what I'd recommend...
If I'm feeling low, it depends on the low I'm feeling.
Sometimes it means listening to Hamilton and kitchen dancing. Other times it means podcasts from my emotional support animals and hugs. Baking helps, that methodical routine, the exactness of it helps clear my mind. Watching or listening to something cathartic. Sometimes sex. If I'm an angry sad, it's gym then violin and not really talking to anyone. |

I'm sorry you've had a rubbish day ... mine too has been pretty crap.. I'd usually have a glass or two of wine ( hubby even bought me a bottle tonight ) but I can't even have so much as a sip because of the antibiotics I'm on ! Gahhhh |

I have different kinds of low days. Some are triggered by the time of year, the weather, my tiredness, my stomach, and people.
Each one triggers a different kind of sadness or low mood. |

"I eat chocolate, drink Lucozade, what's that word for remembering good times in your childhood?,that, and feel tearful.
This was my day, after I had a nap.
Felt ok when I got up."
It's nostalgic depression, apparently. Feeling sad when remembering happy times in the past. |

Yes! That's exactly it. It can vary so much and different types of sadness require different ways of being/dealing with it. |

Sorry to hear you have had a shit day. I personally love nothing more than turning the tunes up and singing loud, dancing like a lunatic.
If got the right company a good cuddle helps too |
