This is mainly for woman but I guess also the men who get responses.
What makes a good first message. What is a good starter? I have tried various messages - I write all of my personally so it takes lots of time and 99% of the time get no response. I’m no brad Pitt but I would say I’m not to shabby looking? Thanks in advance |

Well this is purely for me but a message that’s from someone I’m looking for, that somehow shows they’ve read and understood my profile and most importantly gives me something to actually reply to other than “thanks” . So many first messages are just one line statements that do t help start a conversation so anything g that makes it easy for me to reply to really helps |

There’s no big secret to introducing yourself. What you’ll find is that women are reading through dozens of responses and are likely to check out pic’s before deciding whether to reply or not.
I’ve done short intro’s
I’ve done long intro’s
I’ve done war and peace intro’s
Each have been ignored or answered.
I’d say that as long as you feel you meet the criteria of the person you’re messaging, you’ve personalised it, and refrained from copy and pasting generics……then there’s not much anyone can suggest that will improve reply rates. |

I try to find something in their profile or status that I can spark a conversation from, find a thread and see if you can get a response from it. It also helps when someone’s online as otherwise it can get lost in the vastness of crap messages |

To be fair, as long as it's personalised that's the best you can do.
The best message in the world won't change whether the lady finds you attractive enough, based on your profile, to respond.
Fab is hard work, especially for single guys, and you've only been here a very short time. Be patient and consider getting to socials and clubs. |
