Not a lot if anything gets reported but does anyone seem to worry?

Last I heard

NK have propaganda videos showing them nuking the states.

They cut the hotline to SK.

Shut off their 3G and basically preparing for war.

The states last I heard are flying stealth bombers over SK.

Any war with NK, Iran will no doubt cause other countries to get involved leading to world war 3.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong just interested to hear others views on this and yes any war will affect us as well cuz no doubt our government will follow America anywhere.

There is a short range, low yield tactial nuke on the south korean peninsula, with just enough range and ecm jamming gear to hit the NK Party HQ if Kim Jong Un even whispers the word 'fire'

I heard that one as well. Twitter is great for the latest info.

Can't decide though, China with NK or not. We don't want them to with. I watched too many youtube videos on this war stuff, all the stuff like its been planned due to the worlds economically and war being the best option.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

China doesn't want NK to attack SK, and if they do, China will not be happy.

China has most favoured trading nation status with the US at the mo so any sabre rattling will be well trodden on.

Seemingly angered by a simulated nuclear attack staged by the US, NK has stated that the situation is 'critical' and war may be 'hours away'... more on this story as it develops

I wouldn't worry, they have a large army but hardware is outdated. As for bringing China in, China cannot afford to go up against the NATO block as they hold most our debt as well as being there biggest trading partner.

SK are sabre rattling and it suits all parties to let them have their 5 minutes. The US can ring fence their defense budget due to the Nk threat. NK leadership appear to be a strong so to frighten an control their citizens. China appears like a peace maker

Newcastle and Gateshead

ooooh a decent conversation on foreign affairs... don't get many of them here

the stealth bombers were offically part of the US/South Korea military defence exercise going on at the moment.... but the point that the stealth and b42 bombers made the trip there and back non-stop won't have been lost on anyone..

North Korea isn't going to go so far because the latest round of UN resolutions was put forward jointly by the US and China after the nuclear test and they won't piss off china because they depend on china for fuel and food aid...

china doesn't want anything to happen as they don't want 40 million refugees fleeing for the border....

north korea wants to be noticed and basically like the last time this happened they will probably back down for more fuel and food aid.... something they can call a moral victory

North Korea's missiles are said to be on standby.

Has no one told them this could be costing themup to £86 a year?

It's all Posturing on the part of North Korea. They'd be extremely foolish to actually do anything aggressive towards the south or US.

They'd loose backing from China for a start and considering their economic state their armed forces would be extremely lacking in equipment.

They may be nuclear capable but I highly doubt they have adequate delivery systems or significant numbers if weapons to realistically threaten both the US or South Korea.
