My own cat I think I’d consider it. But not on any other animal. I saw a video of someone doing it on a monkey |

I suspect it's moot as mouth to mouth on humans is ineffective chest compression keeps the blood flowing and allows for some air flow - but it's the circulation that matters. So can't see the point of the question sorry Mr pickles  |

I've done it on a koi carp it's not like chest compressions or anything but a very gentle blow into their fishy mouth  .
It worked and I would definitely do it again (have you seen the price of them) .. |

Well I guess 5ft7 ish isn’t super tall but I was built like a unit. I weigh around 9 3/4 stone and was once around 14stone full of muscular man power

Um not quite correct there about mouth to mouth on humans the mouth to mouth re oxygenates the blood .
In adults the problem and the reason the person has stopped breathing is usually cardiac related so agree plenty of oxygen still in body so circulation vital, however children and young people mostly stop breathing due to respiratory arrest so rescue breaths and mouth to mouth are very important for them .
Body needs both air going in and blood going round and round |
