I overslept. The dog didn't want to go for her walk. I was in such a rush to catch the later bus that I don't even have a corset on and my hair is still in the scruffy dog walking ponytail.

I'm wearing sandals to work today, that's it now. No matter the weather it will be sandals of some description from now until October. It's officially summer...

Oh Meli.
There is nothing good about this morning. There is no joy in my heart. My work calendar is as bleak as the weather we have, which is such a contrast to the weather we enjoyed at the weekend.
Nothing can improve this day. I’m looking at the rain drops dance down the window and I might as well be looking at my reflection with the way my tears fall.
If you can’t tell, I experienced a minor inconvenience this morning and had to have a tea for the drive in as I was out of coffee.
I’m now at work with a coffee but it’s not the same. |

Morning Meli. Off on hols to Turkey today. Should be excited but:
Failed to finish my work. Dreaded billing for customers next. Couple of fee proposals and two more reports. Taxi arrives at 12.00. I am dead! |

Hello all. It’s a 4 day week for me. Off to Riga, Latvia on Friday for 4 nights. Looking forward to it immensely as it’s been around a year since my last getaway.
It has worked out well. With this trip and the bank holidays it turns out it’s 4 consecutive short working weeks. |

Today is lovely up here, apart from me having a bad back which has me rearranging my work days. At least it's sunny so I can enjoy the garden while I do my bad back fixing stretches. |

When I read the 'oh Meli' I knew there'd be drama and you didn't disappoint.
Jamie, the best thing to do is sack off work, drive home, raccoon under a duvet and listen to Del Rey whilst having an existential crisis. I hope your tears are able to dry in the coming months, there's no rush to process the ordeal you've faced this morning.
