And is being kept in a location 30 minutes away. You're driving to rescue them. It's a warm night and your windows are down. Do you listen to music on the drive there, yes or no? |

Definitely, and I’d take 10 minutes or so checking I had the necessary compact disc in the vehicle, if it wasn’t there I’d go back in the house and rummage around until I found the one I wanted, let’s face it, if they are being held hostage, they ain’t goin’ anywhere are they. |

Firstly I wouldn't have the windows down because I'd be driving fast enough to get there in ten minutes and open windows are noisy and not aero dynamic.
Secondly I would drive in cold, stony silence all the better to hone my 'particular set of skills' to use on the people who had taken him  |

This is the rub Joe.
The music would pump up my "mess with my woman and I'll fuck you up" vibe....but the most likely song to come up first would be George Michael's "Freedom".
And after a couple of minutes of that I might just go home, have a coffee and a fag, and think to myself "Well, being nabbed hostage and dumped in one day is, ultimately, character building for her". |

Hmm based on traffic conditions lately I'd say it'll take an hour and a half to get there.
I mean, she's probably already dead by the time I make it.

My ex already owes me enough bloody money. I ain't paying to get him out if he's done something stupid enough to be taken hostage...
Having said that though, if they killed him, I'd never get my money back...
