So just back from blackpool after arranging to meet 9 other couples and 3 singles and nothing not a soul. Message after message always no answers due to bad signal. Yet someone in the group must have had a signal or at least say were all in so and so and we will wait here until you arrive. It was like every pub that was mentioned we got there and nobody was there then oh what a suprise you were in another pub then when we got there too nothing. What i think happened was the bunch who stayed at the one specific swingers hotel all decided to stick together and sod the rest. Even attended club at £35 and no one showed in there either as we left at 10 as it was dead. Absolute waste of money on fuel,hotel,club and time and to be honest put us off the whole thing completely. Welcome to your 1st social that never happened. Good job we like our own company and fun isnt it. So thanks to the organisers who clearly have no clue how to organise. |

10 is very early for the Blackpool clubs. It rarely picks up til around 11 in my experience.
Sorry that it sucked for you. I usually only attend socials in one place announced in advance and haven't had any similar issues. It might have just been an unlucky run, or they might have been arseholes.

We usually go in club play at around 8 and its busy by 9 and packed by 10 but last night was very quiet. Dont think we were in the mood tbh due to the messing around all afternoon. We got a beer then d*unk up quick to meet at the said pub only to find they had moved on yet again. Cat n mouse. |

Really sorry to hear this — what an absolutely frustrating experience. I've just read the other 'official' Blackpool Thread and bemused that there was no Telegram group setup.
Also...being a Londoner I wasn't aware that Blackpool is a small and rural village on the coast, which would explain the lack of 4g/5g signal...

Fair enough, I suppose I go to the more niche nights generally.
The taboo nights I've been to before have definitely been later for picking up. The uv nights pick up a lot earlier.
But yeah, not feeling it after being messed around makes sense. Hope you managed to at least enjoy each other |

Its not that small nor rural but for some reason my phone provider will not work the wifes works fine so messages were readeable. Telegram,kick wattsapp even exchange numbers as i did send the organisers our mobile numbers. |

That sounds quite awful, the ‘wild goose chase’ aspect of “meet us in this pub, no we’re in this pub now”…….almost sounds deliberate tbh? I would block all those involved, and just move on. There’s plenty of decent, genuine people in here to get to know  
I’ve only been to Club Play one time, but wasn’t a fan either. You have other clubs closer to home you can visit, so give them a go. All the best to you both |

Nothing to do with the club really we actually like it,it was the cat n mouse chase all afternoon. Its not like we were coming to blackpool either we came specifically for that even down to booking days off work for it. |
