We're considered lower than that. I believe Switzerland's public vote was the largest. I feel we were unlucky for Sam not to win - he had a lot going for him in terms of character; hair and personality (alongside a great performance).
But on average, I always find it amusing how we lose to countries that are singing a hot tempo song that is not in their native languages, but rather English. You’d think we’d learn our lesson the following year as we have the language upper hand | |||

I Googled the songs instead and then used the Translate page option. It worked. | |||
