Not long now until Tool return to the UK only 2 years since their last visit.

I’m going to the Birmingham (staying over in a hotel) and Manchester. I’ve got St Vincent in Bristol in between.

Anyone else going?

They certainly are so there are only a few acts I'm willing to go and see in big venues however TOOL are pretty much the top of that list.

Last time I saw tool was 1993 they were supporting Rage Against the Machine at Rock City. I think it was probably less than £20 and one of the best gigs I’ve been to

They were awesome as always tonight in Birmingham. It tickles me that a band can play an arena and close their show with a song about fisting. And then Dancing Queen by ABBA comes on as the crowd are filing out.

Amazing wasn’t it. Arrived just as Wool were finishing, then Tool came on, I’d never heard of them before, and wow what a set…..missed most of RATM trying to go for a piss….
