Usual scenario, due to a dodgy batch of pasties the world has been overrun by zombies...the slow arse 70's kind, not those super fast 28 days later mo fos.
Question is what would you do? Personally in the absence of readily available rpg's and such I'd prob go for the hold up in a supermarket / mall option as per Dawn of the dead...not too many doors / windows to make safe and a few months supply of food while figuring out what to do next.
What would you do ? |

Pedantic
Movie Geek here - Zombies are reanimated dead people, the people in 28 Days later just had an infection and cannot/should not be classed as Zombies
/Pedantic

The pasties started to infect the locals long ago....I noticed the first signs of it when I moved to Devon Sixteen years ago, I find that if you notice a Pasty Zombie heading towards you then cross over to the other side of the road and avoid eye contact.... |

Personally I'd head to my work office
Big secure doors that open outwards so the zombies can't push them open
In the city centre so plenty of supplies close at hand
Near to the docks for a backup escape route out of the city
Radio city tower near by to attept contact with the outside world
I've thought this through far to much haha

If it wasn't for the Grockles the Westcountry would have been declared bankrupt many years ago....

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire) |
I'm about 99% certain that most of the people in the village are zombies already - or at least live like they are.
My plan - gun shop, stock up, then hole up in a remote hotel up here... clear view all round, nice and remote - so the buggers would be bored of walking way before they got here!
Nice hotel, good food, log fire... no idea what I would do to keep my spirits up tho |

Head for an army base to obtain weaponry military vehicles, secure fuel supplies on base and set up secure location on base. In military vehicles, raid supermarkets and other useful shops for supplies (clothing, building material, gas gardening equipment and seed stock)
Plan move to secure rural location to secure area and become self sufficient
I thought about this a bit too much haven't I?

"I'd prob go for the hold up in a supermarket / mall option"
Probably not the best idea given you'd be mobbed by hordes of desperate survivors who thought the exact same thing, and would gladly crack your head open for a four pack of baked beans.
Personally, I reckon your only chance in a zombie apocalypse would be if you'd had the foresight to stock up on supplies beforehand - failing that, an ample supply of blunt objects and a hefty swing! |

"Land Of The Dead" sprung to mind aswell. Zombies just walked across the waterbed. Fine I suppose if you're always on the move and never cast anchor. x |

I'd nip over to my old dears house, raid their gun cabinet, get in the indestructible and trusty Volvo, run over any zombies in my way....or shoot the buggers, then head to the boat and take off out to sea....,.all well planned in advance |

Firstly, to be pedantic, 28 days later doesn't have zombies in it. They're infected. They don't die, just get the virus in them.
Anyways, what I'd do is:
Wait a few days for all the idiots to panic and run away.
Then I'd loot what I could from the surrounding area and then stay put making melee weapons positioned around my courtyard.
Get neighbour (we've talked about this at length) to sort a watch schedule.
I have a park like 3 mins away so firewood would be abundant.
Basically, I'm sorted. I know the dos and don'ts. I'm confident I'll survive. |
