Hiya
Can you give me your best tips to approaching people in clubs? Whether it’s approaching a male, female or couple.
I (female) get a bit shy and nervous and I am crap at approaching others. What topics do you discuss other than the obvious? I can do the flirt once I’m in a conversation but it’s the initial approach I’m rubbish at.
Any tip? |

It’s hard I know especially if you’re introverted naturally.
I guess it’s different for me as a male in a club than a female, so hopefully you’ll get some more appropriate responses, but I go with a totally non sexual approach, just like I would if I was to talk to someone in a supermarket or pub etc.
Something mundane about the weather “I’m glad it’s warm in here - it’s freezing outside” or something of a similar ilk.
As long as you’re polite and respectful most people will respond and you’ll get an early feel if they’re up for a chat.
The hardest part is summoning the courage to actually make that leap and approach them. Once you’ve done that most people in clubs (in my experience) have been lovely.
And if they’re not, well don’t let it knock you, plenty more fish in the sea!
As a female I’m sure most people would welcome an approach so go fill your boots!
Good luck! |
