Hello.
What is, to you, not that deep, that is deep to seemingly everyone else?
I had someone highlight to me recently that saying it’s not that deep to someone undermines the fact that, to them it is that deep. That was a good lesson. Anyway go on?  |

I think it’s examples of things that aren’t that deep to you but might be for someone else.
For instance; kissing for couples. It might not be deep for me but it can be for them.

Yes but TL;DR
I think it’s examples of things that aren’t that deep to you but might be for someone else.
For instance; kissing for couples. It might not be deep for me but it can be for them.

Erm various things. I don't like that saying. It does undermine how I feel and then I just think, nope, I'm not sharing how I really feel with you again.
Having typed that... sometimes it's good to get a reality check. I know I can be a tad dramatic at times so really, it depends on who you are and how my mood is as to how I take it. |

I also say it about something that happens to me. People might say ‘oh I’m sorry that happened’ and I might reply, ‘eh it’s ntd anyway’ |

What's NTD but might be deep to me? I get told to stop getting irritated by places that aren't accessible, or don't have wheelchair accessible loos or when they turn Blue Badge spaces into taxi ranks and outdoor café seating areas or electric car charging places (though I can jib in on those now, but ironically, they're often not wide enough). Apparently it's completely impossible for the world to be more accessible and I should just go somewhere else or not go out at all.
So, café toilets are deep to me but NTD for others. |
