Or anyone else with culinary expertise!

I have a lump of prosciutto - not finely sliced that I can gently and delicately wrap around figs or chicken breasts.

It's a lump. And I know I had a recipe ages ago for diced prosciutto (could I find a lump at the time, could I buggery!)

Over to you lovely fabbers, what can I do with this not so delicate delicacy?

Cut it up into tiny pieces and fill into ready made pasta with a smidgen of red pepper pesto (or any pesto for that matter), like morsels of ravioli or tortellini.

I tried it in a pasta salad the other day. I wasn't that enamoured, but I like the sound of the jacket potato! Thank you, Hello.

Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Havant

Seriously how “hard” is the meat.?

It can be diced to

Make fabulous lardons to go onto a warm salad with glazed onions , toasted pumpkin seeds

Finely sliced to go into an omelette with a good cheese like Camembert to melt together

Please do not blend it that’s a waste .. unless you make it into a pasta ravioli

Or mail it to

Me please !! lol

It's not hard as such, just difficult to slice into wafer thin ribbons.

I like the omelette idea!

"Oh wow. I’d be adding it to my omelette "

Good suggestion. Also can be chopped and used as extra topping on pizza or foccacia or in pasta like a carbonara type of thing unless you can do something like tortellini that was suggested with some pecorino cheese and asparagus filling. Wrapped in haloumi or haddock is great but only if you can slice.

Some really good suggestions, thank you!

Tonight I have made a macaroni cheese with the prosciutto diced and fried, and the sauce has spring onion, chive and black pepper.

There's plenty of it left to try out all your wonderful suggestions!
