" I’ve always found the texture of raspberries a little weird.
Have you tried mashing them ? Delicious"
Oh aye, I do like them. Not mashed them myself personally (I’m far too lazy for that) But I do like a raspberry jam or on a cheesecake. |

For Jam making I use both fruits, 85% of what I make uses Strawberries with Raspberries accounting for 15%.
With regard to baking cakes and pastries it is about 50 / 50, Always use Strawberries in Victoria Sponges though. |

No.
Don't put them in your bottom.

You have tastebuds in your bottom?
Is that not a bit traumatic after a curry? |

"Raspberries. I can always serve them in my porridge, plonk one into my gin and tonic, or serve them fresh with a drizzle of pure maple syrup when breakfasting on my freshly baked croissants."

either if they are ripe and sweet, well remeber the strawberries from 50 years ago grown on plants in the ground available fro a few short weeks early summer what a treat they were, the ones we get nowadays are a pale imitation of the real thing, now grown in poly tunnels and hydroponics |

Given a choice between the two I'd always pick the Strawberry since much prefer eating them in their natural state and in ice creams, cheesecakes, Gateau's, etc.
My second choice would be the Raspberry for its high fibre content and sweet tart flavour in jams.

"If I had to pick between the two. Then strawberries.
In reality though. I hate any fruit with little seeds in it.
Preferred fruit is Durian..
Oooohh a man of culture I see"
It's a very marmite fruit, but for me, it doesn't have bits that get stuck under my dentures |
