I have the urge to get dolled up and go out, but childcare, lack of somewhere to go & lack of an outfit that fits put a stop to that - so I need other ideas..... |

A nice bubble bath, with some pampery stuff.
A good walk.
A fancy cup of coffee in a nice coffee shop.
A jog (not that I've done that one in a long time).
Buying something frivolous online.
Planning a trip or break away. |

Definitely fresh air even if it’s being in the garden.
Feelgood, uplifting music is a must.
Also, as already mentioned, maybe book or plan something in advance so everytime you feel that way it’s something to work towards or look forward to.

Stick music in your ears and go for a stompy walk?
Do that regularily with my oldest. Mental health walks do make you feel a bit better.

I get that, childcare particularly. It can be tricky but I find a walk helps massively! Be active, paint something, make something, write something, take photos of something, be creative, bit of exercise, cook something... Call a distant friend you've been meaning to contact and keep putting off, arrange something |
