Paper Town Central, Essex.

Are there any you're going to?

Is the any one you'd recommend?

Give me all the gossip, no matter how large or small.

Tell me the good things about it and the bad.

So far this year, the first one for me is Stone Valley South.

Now getting larger and more popular.

The bad.... toilets (but improves every year)

The good.... an amazing line up of bands for very little money and very friendly..

I'd recommend any one of the three to anyone dipping their toes into the festival scene.

I'd give it 4.5 out of 5

I’ve got FESTwich down (Manchester) with a Fabber and really looking forward to it.

It’s a great vibe, and a good mix of bands. The usual faces over 2 days.

I've got the Sausage and Cider festival in Tunbridge Wells in June. Couple of bands and tribute acts.

Just praying for decent weather

There's got to be more festival goers than this.

Another one I'll be attending is Bearded Theory.

Very big but not Glastonbury levels. Around 9 or 10 stages and all different genres. Always something to do but can be a little intimidating for a first one.

Incidentally, Stone Valley has only 1 stage and around 45 minutes before the next band.

Had tickets for Victorious in 2020.

Shit, thought you meant Christmas was here but only 5 months after the last one.

It comes around quickly enough, so don't scare us please OP.

Victorious, because it's 5 mins down the road and no camping involved!

OK... I'm confused now.

Not hard to do to me really.

Although I might just put my Christmas lights up.

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

Just loaded my car with my PA gear and setting off to Filey for 2 days of music. This festival is held in aound 8 or 9 venues in the town, and all the acts are local/unsigned musicians. And it's free entry. I'm running one of the stages there.

We'll not be at asylum sadly, as it clashes with a medieval show we're booked for in Skegness

We’re off to YNot in the Peak District at the beginning of August. Posted a new thread but it doesn’t look like it’s a popular festival on here (despite some big headliners)
