Before I ask the question, here is the video behind it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXEWvCeTPJk
I watched a video from coach greg, where he reviewed a video from a fitness influencer who talked about how he thinks that he doesnt give an accurate representation of himself.
If you look from 6min in the video where he talked about his instagram photos versus real life, he said that the pictures from instagram is not an accurate representation of him.
I agree with coach greg that yes it is an accurate representation of him, as he stands relaxed and pumped in the photo, because you dont look the same after a workout compared to when you wake up in the morning.
Here is my question to you, what do you think of your pics online here, do you think that they give an accurate representation of who you are in real life?
Mine does and I also agree that when you pose or stand in different angles it is an accurate representation of you, the only time as I see it isnt, is if you are retouching it, changing colours are fine, but not changing any features |

I mean i don't walk around in my underwear, but i think if you met me there would be an association with the clues in my pictures?
Hair, hands, jawline.. Height
Is that what you mean? |

I don't think many have a true representation of real life online, we all pick the best, happiest pics to post, none of us are posting in our comfies with unbrushed hair the house a top fill of toys (well maybe a few do)
Same as on here, I don't walk around in my lingere, it's a tiny snippet of me, not the whole me & I'm a private person I'm not one to post my whole life on social media.

Well it’s not full body so you can’t see that
I am short and fat.
But my face looks the same. Maybe nicer in person? Actually no because I’m way too smiley in person |

I mean yes to a certain extent. I do have just woken up with frizzy hair ones. Make up free and big cardigan ones. If I've got that level of friendship then sure I'll send them.
I don't filter mine (bar making them black and white) but I'm really not bothered if others do. It's obvious when they have. |

I don't think I'm good enough at taking photos or editing to give an inaccurate representation. I pick the ones I think are ok and I don't have the inclination to spend lots of time on it.
Pictures are static, so unless I was looking for a doll they aren't really going to tell me much. I need to meet a person and acquire the complete sensory data set.
I can appreciate a good pic and have a few friends who excel at it. They're often telling me I should do XYZ or offering to do some for me. I never get round to it. |

What's an accurate representation of myself? I don't present myself in the same way in every situation. The representation people see here is the 'fab' version. Other people will see the 'friend', 'daughter', 'parent' version. It's all smoke and mirrors |

It's what we are doing at the time that requires us to adapt our appearance. Going to a PTA meeting dressed as I would when I'm playing would be quite a shock I think, but sure some of the Dads might like it haha. Horses for courses..

I also think that we have very little control over how people perceive whatever representation of ourselves we choose.
As an example we had a very poor experience (not swinging) with a man who wore his hair in a ponytail. On holiday one of the men on reception looked very much like him and I just couldn't get past that despite him being genuinely helpful and pleasant. I don't think anyone ever gets an accurate impression of other people it's always coloured by their experience |

I do tend to use posed pictures of my better bits. But I do also have a few that are accurate.
I don't use filters aside from black and white. Or for colour photos I'll bring the saturation up a little to make the colours stand out more.
I think it would be obvious if I started using those face and body fixing apps. Plus I'd have to be good at tech stuff to do all that |

I look damn good in my profile. I actually think it shows exactly who I am, and exactly who you’d meet. But don’t forget the 20 photos I deleted because I look like shit.
I filter some, but there’s nots that aren’t and I definitely don’t get into the ‘heavy filtering to look younger etc.” that misleading. |

I don’t filter my pics, like others may do b&w etc for the fun/art of it, but yea my pics are true to life though flattering.
But also agree in terms of I am not hanging out in full sexy lingerie all the time (contrary to what some dafties may think!)
I’m more often likely to be found in jeans or leggings, a slouchy sweater and fluffy socks, hair in a messy bun and specs on! That’s my work attire
And of course I look different again if I’m meeting family (esp mum! Who expects me to look relatively conservative and who would prefer I have short hair “at your age” so I have it in an updo for her, sometimes for professional meetings too).
We are different people WITH different people, inc different meets and fab friends. They’re all our real selves just different aspects of us. |

I think if you met me, you would know it is me. But, are my photos a true reflection of me? I don't think so. I'm seen as innocent and like butter wouldn't melt in real life. And on Fab, you see a whole different side to a person purely from photos alone. I can imagine when you're sat down having a coffee with me it's hard to envision me pulling my thong to the side to show my fanny. I show my best side here, mostly with still photos. Once you add in movement, voice and mannerisms I think it changes a lot. And as for personality, it is quite similar to how I write on the forums but unless we become very close you're never going to know the real me.
I don't think many people on here would be exactly as they are on their profile and that is absolutely fine as long as there is no deceitful behaviour.
I do think there are many people living a false life on social media, but they are usually easy to spot. I find when it comes to Fab it's not like Instagram or Facebook etc. |

I'm always honest about myself, which usually gets me the " thanks but your not my type " answer , .
Don't have a six pack or a big cock , there is a very high % of women on here who are only after that, ( ratio of men /women who can blame em )
But still I'm honest about myself |

my pictures are not filtered - the wobbly bits are all on show - i dont walk around in lingerie, with chicks or kitkats up my pants or in my bra on a daily basis!!
neither to i go round painting myself that often!
Im far more ditzy in real life slopping around in either a robe on my days off or jeans/joggers and a sweatshirt wondering where i put the milk this time |

I think my profile and pics describes and expresses me well and is exactly what you can expect from me in person.
I don't see the point in making yourself seem totally different on here as if or when you meet with someone, they'll be meeting a different person and that would be a waste of everyone's precious time. |

I think if I walked around in the supermarket in me under crackers to "I touch myself" by the Divyinyls or ran my fingers through my hairy chest or fondled the cucumbers suggestively at everyone the security guard would frog march me out the door.... So, in reality perhaps not...
We all take our best photos from whatever angle or focus on the body part we think is best. I like my thighs & legs & bum & hopefully others do too!???
Every pic I take is of me by me & probably take too many pics per pic to get the one then delete. Yep, the only filters I use is to brighten colours in a pic, sharpen it, b&w but it's always me! It's my bod.

Mine are not filtered, but I do use angles and poses to make the most of my best features and don't show photos of the worst bits.
I very much doubt anyone would be able to recognize me from my pictures. |

Mine do - older bloke bit of padding , average cock, and its his disarming piss taking that has women wetter than an otters pocket in real life. Hopefully come across as confident not cocky , serious on the odd occasion when the situation/ discussion requires it but mostly here to stick a pin in the ‘Im an alpha male types!’ - if you have to say it - you’re probably not - If I come across like this then i’ll be quite happy |

We are not the same people on here as we are in real life except in some social meets.
We certainly wouldn't be as open about our sex life to some of our friends or family so if anything we are probably more ourselves here than in real life x |

I'd say I give a pretty accurate representation.
The only filters on my pics are monochrome or what photographers add when it's not one I took myself. I do wander around the house in fishnets and corsets, and exist only in little black dresses outside the house. I am just as standoffish with strangers in real life as my profile implies. My bedroom light is the soft purple that most of my pictures have.
All in all, as close as it gets without including the racoon oodie I wear when I'm sick. |

I don’t know.
As I’ve been told many times over, I look better in person than in photos I’m starting to wonder.*
*The wording is actually something about my photos being stunning but the me in person being far more stunning. I think they’re trying to win me over but what do I know. |

Oh yes, I’m frequently found lounging on the bed in heels and lingerie, you mean to say we don’t all do that?
Actually my gym photo is fairly accurate, for a pre-workout pic, the post workout would never get a public airing
As to my profile, yes I’m direct and actually if you get past that I’m probably nicer than I come across initially. And waaaay more chatty (too chatty). But I tried to re-write it and ended with war and peace volume ii so it’s stayed as is.
Haven’t yet had anyone say I’m not as expected though so I’ll take it |

Never edited my pics. They're all of me in the space of a few months. I regularly keep fit by exercise. And I'm genuinely easy going and enjoy having banter and a chat.
So yeah I'd say my profile is a accurate representation. Then again people do say I look better in person. |

I don't use social media to present myself to anyone.
On here my profile is an accurate representation of me as a person and my pics are all me too just from a variety of angles.
Anyone who matters know that I look like my pics and I am just like my profile.
I don't look at influencers videos or read anything they have to say because they are selling themselves or a product. They don't represent me in any form so they are irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. |
