Maidstone

Hi fellow fabbers, would love to get some boxset / series recommendations from any of the mainstream streaming apps. Preferably those which have either been completed or are at least a few seasons in.

As a bit of a background, I've watched most of the classics as well as some of the more recent series like:

- The Sopranos

- The Wire

- Breaking Bad

- Succession

- GoT

- Ozark

- Billions

- Mad Men

- The Shield

etc. etc.

"Homeland? "

I actually have a fundamental issue with the stereotypes in Homeland, so unless there's literally nothing else left to watch in the world, I probably won't

That's actually something I want to get stuck in to. I've only watched one episode and found it equal parts hilarious and outlandish.

I've never heard of this, what streaming platform is it on?

I'm not sure. It may be on a niche/ smaller streaming site.

I binge watched it on physical media a few years ago.

Central

Just 1 series but Channel 4, Red Light, is phenomenal! Based on the red light areas in Amsterdam and Antwerp, a gripping police investigation and amazing acting and action.

Community is on netflix. Some series brilliant others a little meh. But Def worth a watch.

I personally love House (M.D) the one with Hugh Laurie in. On prime I think.

Other suggestions for decent series (albeit it adult cartoons - not graphic but intended audience) although only one of each.

- Arcane

- cyberpunk edgerunners

Both netflix

We are watching Taskmaster now for the first time and it's brilliant.

I thought The Good Place lost ita way a bit. I really enjoyed the first series and it sort of died after that for me.

I agree with The Good Place, but loved the concept of the show. Taskmaster is genuinely one of my favourite shows ever and how they keep things interesting after this many seasons is testament to the creativity of the task creators and the participants each season.

Cestus 3

Shogun has just completed its run, I would say it is better to bing it than watch it every week as I did.

Slow horses is excellent, funny with a dark serious side story season 3 will drop soon.

"From" kind of is-fi horror waiting fprseason 3.

Silo, suspense story, is-fi I saw it on sky.

Sugar on Apple TV

3 body problem just completed season 1 more to come.

Strange new worlds best Star Trek in years on paramount plus

I have yet to watch this The Mayor of Casterbridge no idea which platform it is on.

apparently Yellowstone is good not seen it

Justified not seen it but hear it is good.

The mandolorian Star Wars spinoff in to 3seasons but I stopped watching in season 3 Disney have a issue with ethics at the moment.

The bear, wow just so good a surprise it for FX which icon Disney

Snowfall, set in the 80's crack explosion.

The responder on BBc iplayer new season is very soon now great drama.

Highjack idris Elba Apple TV
