Sticking with film themes once more, what's a really well done fight scene that you like?
There's an old Bruce Lee film, where he kicks about 20 Japanese fighters in a dojo, in the space of about 3 seconds.
Bruce Lee was on another level. He could do 1500 pushups without a break..and he could do 2 point push ups, using only his index finger & thumb. (One guy that holds several pushup records can only do them with 3 digits )
I also like all the fight scenes in chronicles of riddick.
Also the the fight scene between Leonardo decaprio's character and Tom Hardy's character at the end of 'The Revenant".
What are yours? |

LoneWolf & Cub- Ogami Itto- every kill in the comic books, t.v. series', movies and feature movie.
Okay if I had to pick one, it did feature across the board.
One of the Merchants of Death was telling a story about a kill technique he'd love to master. Slice someone across the neck so that just a small wound opens and it makes a beautiful and very eeiry sound and then boom the neck explodes.
With much irony Lone Wolf does it to him.

"Anakin vs Obi-wan in revenge of the sith
Near the volcano ?
Yup, the fight resulting in the true birth of Darth Vader "
There's a kick ass fight scene in the kenobi TV series, between them when they're a bit older. |

Lots of great fights on here but I'm going to add a few more.
Brotherhood Of The Wolf. Random French movie with the gorgeous Monica Belushi. The scene where he is fighting in the rain.
The Matrix. The scene where he first fights Morpheous I. The dojo and also the scene where he fights Seriph, the guy who minds the key maker.
Oldboy. The Hallway scene.
Also all of Roadhouse. But only if you say it like Peter from Family Guy

It's a really good film about Russian mafia etc. I've only ever watched it once years ago- it was on bbc1 anfter midnight so a late night as I was gripped. And the fight scene left its impression on me! I've never seen it aired subsequently and no idea if you can stream it anywhere. |

David Cronenberg I think so it's bound to be good. And disturbing. |

A win for the dodgy firestick...it's on there! Might be on for a watch later after the gym. |

Love the riot in Quadrophenia, when the mods go on the rampage. The fight on the beach should be shown in history lessons at school.
The scene in Scum, when Carling takes on the black lad (“Where’s your tool?”).
The Warriors, where their top boy goes down in a blaze of glory in Central Park. |

Some really good shouts here.
The raid is excellent really good reminds me of game of death when bruce had to fight a boss on every floor.
Eastern promises great film one of my fav actors, not a fight film but greenbook is also excellent, because of the actor.
fist of fury in the dojo and when he fights the Russian great stuff.
Nobody realistic fight scene.
But I have two The 50 rings of sholin Chinese film and Police Story the first one Jackie chan the fight goes on and on.

*The 3way lightsaber duel in Phantom Menace
*Shredder vs Batman in the Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.
*The whole shopping Mall fight in Police Story
*Jackie Chan vs. Benny The Jet, Wheels on Meals
*The Raid...the whole movie is basically a big fight sequence
*Rocky vs Drago
*The warehouse fight in Batman v Superman
I’m a major movie buff. I could go on forever.

I first saw Enter the Dragon on video in 1981 - 1982 so I was 13-14.There are a lot of great fight scenes in the film but yes the fight in the underground facility is the best in the film and the best fight scene I have ever seen.

Once upon a time in Hollywood
Best fight scene because its said to have really happened between the two movie characters. It's also hilarious.
Bruce Lee trying to teach a lesson in fighting with the stuntman. Played by Brad Pitt. The stuntman puts little Bruce on his back.
The shock of it all was hilarious.
Kind of anyway.

The stair case fight scene in Atomic Blonde. The whole film was nicely shot and the fight sequences were good. "
Defo, done by the John wick team I believe, and yes there are some really good shouts to movies here. |
