LOVE caviar.... especially with ice cold vodka, blinis and a nice green salad.
I'm not fussy... even the cheap stuff from IKEA is nice.
Love it also on sushi. |

Never, but I come from a working class inner city background where we used to water-down the tomato ketchup just to make it last longer...
We never enjoyed these so-called "luxury" foods.. |

Not something I’d ever buy or use but occasionally it’s on sushi dish or even in the odd cocktail. I used a date a Russian who exported it , never realised they freeze the stuff for years and by weight it’s more expensive than silver |

I tried it once. It didn't inspire me. I also tried oysters. Again, glad I tried, but not something I'd repeat. The first time I tried taramasalata I loved it, then found out what it was. That put me off for a long time. |

"How often do you have it? Do you go for baluga or kaluga "
Damn. I feel so low rent. Love caviar but only cheap black and pink stuff from Waitrose. Can’t afford any really good stuff, but have no doubt it is incrementally more tasty. |

"I’ve never tried it. I’m funny when it comes to textures of foods.
Do they pop in your mouth?
Like one of those fish eyes on a bush tucker trial
NOPE!! "
Yeah, no. Slight pop, maybe but not eyeball pop, for sure. |

Do tell what those are. I’m up for trying most food but don’t know any of those names, although I have heard of Tuna. |

To be absolutely honest that can be very subjective. Some variations for me taste better but all depends what with etc. I am not a connoisseur, in case I have given that impression. I was just wondering just like I do with olives, oysters or tripe |

Buttery, rich and creamy, slightly salty, and has ocean-like notes with light and delicate fish and nutty hints.
Similar to cock snot. "

"I find it funny fish eggs are eew but chicken ones are ok, humans are weird. Yes I've tried it was as a garnish on a fish dish. It was ok, I didn't think it added much to be honest. "
It's not humans it's our various cultures. For example we are most of us open to eating a beef burger, but eating a dog or a cat?
The people in the far east don't understand why we're willing to eat one animal but not another?
Others treat insects as a delicacy, coming from a Pakistani background like moi if you eat bacon we'd look at you like you were an animal (Muslims don't do pork) whilst the Chinese love pork.
It's a funny old world. |
