Pasta Caponata is tasty, Matt Pritchard has a good recipe in his Dirty Vegan book

The Town by The Cross

I'm vegan. I don't know what vegana is.

Seriously USE the internet.

There are untold numbers of great recipes.

Stay away from ready prepared vegan foods.

Ensure you get nutritional balance.

When I was vegan I began cooking Indian food.

Best dish and I still love it now was a vegetable daal one from The Hare Krishna Book of Vegetarian Cooking.

Couldn't find the exact recipe online last night but will pull hot up later from the book.

SpiceBox by Grace Regan is your book for curry recipes.

Bosh do loads of recipes.

Learn to make seitan (bulk buy the flour from Amazon).

Miyoko Schinner has a good book on vegan cheeses.

Crawley

1 cup of mung dal or green split peas

8 cups of water

3 tsp salt

2 bay leaves

1 cinnamon stick, 3-inches long, broken

1 tsp turmeric

1tbs butter

275g assorted vegetables, washed and cubed

1 tbs ghee

2 dried chillies, crushed

1 tbs grated fresh ginger

1/4 tsp. asafoetida (generally used to replace onion, garlic)

1 tbs chopped fresh coriander

2 lemons, washed and cut into 8 wedges

I'd put tomatoes in mine (cut into 8 wedges per tomato) because cooking the dish one time I flicked back to the book and read from the wrong page but it goes great.

If you like the look of all that I'll post you the method.
