"I’m odd because even though I love biscuits and cake…
I’ve never really been a fan of donuts
Weirdo.

To be honest, many of the krispy kremes are more 'cake' than 'donut'.
Especially the chocolate dreamcakes. |

Those donuts are just melting but oh so sweet. One is enough. Prefer hot donuts from original margate dreamland maker of 6 doughnuts (ring) now they were hot and melted and Krispy creme never existed growing up. There is a doughnut seller just before I take the motorway it is a must stop. |

"Never been a fan, as they seem so over priced, but don’t like icing and cakes, prefer cheese. Now, a cheese donut and I’ll be there!"
They are over priced because they waste so many. I worked in a shop where they sold them, they come every day, throw every doughnut away, fill the display up, leave the staff boxes of free doughnuts. Very wasteful. |

This might be inappropriate to say given your mod status now but I really hope you take some new doughnut photos.
I'm almost tempted to get some myself today but not sure I can face the Trafford Centre. |

It's been a while since the last one.
I'll see what I can do.

They will never be as nice as the freshly made donuts that you can get in McCarthur Glen shopping Centre. Located in Sunny South Wales.
You can buy 10 donuts and still have money left over to pay your rent! |

When the light is on at Krispy Kreme in Enfield they give you free original glazed donuts from the kitchen (you can see them being made) |

"I don't actually like their donuts. "
They don't taste that much better than your average supermarket one. Got given a dozen for free by a delivery man once, found them to be quite meh |

"ooh there are two co ops - these bake them in store - so sometimes they warm"
The warm sugar donuts you get near the beach (and other places) those are the best! |

Contemplating hiring a van and driving to Bristol.

I posted photos somewhere else that you can see.
That'll answer the 'holes/filled' question.
I may even bring some on Saturday. |

I used to drive to Southend with my children and grandchildren just to get a dozen seafront doughnuts.
They'd be gone before we got home. |
