Just watched utube clips of Karen's and Kevin's

Some are preposterous

Some deserve the karma they get back

But can't help but think that some (only some) are helped along by the people filming them getting antagonistic

Have you experienced a Karen or kevin??

I think the term Karen never really helped the world. It’s a backwards step if you value equality and harmony…

Karen has evolved and it’s just becoming a general purpose insult/racist slur.

If challenging the use of the term makes me a Karen then great! The world needs some logic and love imo

Karens and Kevins are terrifying I’m glad I’ve not encountered one properly. When I worked in retail there were a few irritating ones but it never got that deep

You think it’s racist to call someone a Karen?

I think that’s quite funny considering they’re usually racist.

Yes, I absolutely thinks it’s racist to assume white people think or behave in a certain way and to group them accordingly

But it’s not assuming that. The label is applied based on behaviour.

Maidstone

Well sometimes it helps when not behaving badly...

It was foggy at AMS (Amsterdam Schiphol Airport) so there were queues all over the airport! As we got closer and closer to the desk, I could hear successive K&Ks shouting at the poor staff.

When it was our turn, we approached him with empathy. We had great banter with him and he managed a genuine smile in the end. We got an extra day to our return flight - the Sunday which was more expensive... we wanted that flight when booking but didn't want to pay the odds... !
