Actually yes. I can appreciate how good looking a pals daughter is, but I can state a fact. That’s is an absolute no go area.

We have 2 gorgeous grown up daughters and two absolute monsters of grown up sons who love reminding scrots to fuck off away from their sisters.
Saying that the daughters are married to equally as monstrous guys who also like fucking off idiots away from their wives.
So answer is yes but you shouldn't try it,

I treat my friends children as I would my own. Just the same as my step daughter and her friends too.

I once had a male friend comment on how my then almost 16 year old daughter would be "legal", after laughing that a friend of his in his 40's was still hanging round with their old university sports club and shagging freshers who are 18.
He barely left the pub with his balls intact .... I made it emphatically clear that that his friend was sexual predator and I am sure when his then 6yr old daughter was 16 he'd not appreciate middle aged men letching over her or trying to shag her.
He hastily retreated and apologised with his tail between his legs and I got a round of applause from all my female and right thinking male friends.
Don't be a sexual predator or dirty old letch Brett.

"My friends' children" fall under my "category error" list.
Things, creatures, or people I do not consider in a sexual way. Apples, crocodiles, (people who even if it's legal it would be a terrible idea and/or betrayal) |

A few of mine do, but they are all under age. One of them is my god daughter.
Thet are great for winding their dads up, mentioning about all the guys to will shag them when they start dating. That conversation usually ends by someone reminding him, that is exactly what he did at their age. |

Well, I wasn't expecting this.
Mates wife, I'd MAYBE comment on. I Definitely couldn't even think of any of my friends daughters like that regardless of whether they're 18 or 40. So I couldn't comment. Definitely not an area I'd go down personally but, each to their own. |

I might think "this person has a good looking child". But in the same way I might look at an old picture of my great-grandmother and say she was pretty back in the day.
I might even say that they're good looking. But in the same way I'd say that someone's small child was inquisitive or clever - not in a "I want" way, in a "this person has a positive characteristic" way. |

That would make sense. Big difference between them.
I don't think the OP really thought about how it probably looked or sounded before hand. Don't think there was malicious intent with it, but obviously wasn't just one person who thought the same. As a father myself it's pretty hard not to see it and go, "wow. That ain't good". |

I have friends who have daughters who are delightful young adults with beautiful souls.
I can't and don't attach any kind of sexual feelings towards them, or harbour anything but the most platonic, near familial thoughts about them.
