I don’t suppose you could help ….
I’m thinking of entering the ballot for London marathon…. Should I pay for the ballot (gives you a chance in 2 ballots) or enter for free?
Does the paying give you a better chance due to your donation?
Anyone had experience with this?

Can’t you do it for a charity? You have an amount to raise but you get a place. I’m basing this on the time I done the great north run so may be different for the big smoke. |

I’ve never entered op but I have heard either option is a lottery so I personal would suggest free ballot rather than lose money should you not be selected but I do hope you get chosen however you enter |

I wouldn't pay. The chances are still very slim.
Are you in a running club? They get a place so you're technically in the ballot twice.
Or do Manchester marathon! Their early entry places were released last week. |
