I think we have a little tribe here "
Apparently cheese & onion is the most popular flavour of crisps which surprised me. |

"Haven’t had one since was young nowadays I won’t eat a sandwich unless it has some form of high fat salted meat inside
Mmmm, bacon!
Haha yes that would definitely be first choice"
Yes indeed, nothing like a real good spit roast to get that smoky bacon sizzling and dripping juices (lovely).
Mouthwatering... |

Gone and completely forgotten. |
I not done this since I was at school in them black and white days, when my favourite was smokey bacon on a morning roll with a cheese triangle spread on it. We used to get them from an ice cream van parked outside, until the rector banned them for creating a traffic hazard! Those were the days, the only good thing about my schooldays! |

"Ready salted on white bread with tomato sauce now this is a massively underrated samich "
It is a delightful treat.
When feeling posh I prefer a brioche bun, (real) salted butter with cheese and onion crisps.
Heaven in a bun

"Warburton's blue, lots of butter, prawn cocktails walkers.
All other answers are wrong. "
Blue bag is medium thickness? A good crisp will cut that waaay too easily. Has to be thick bread everytime.
Prawn Cocktail or Cheese and Onion with a thin slice of cheese too and its a winner

Not against thick bread, but it does somewhat hinder the crisp to bread ratio. Also yeh ..Ive never had any crisp\bread violations, perhaps I'm just precise on how I structure the crisps... |
