They can often be just below skin surface, particularly in areas such as the clavicle or ankle. If they become an issue, they can be removed at a later date, though not with every fracture. If removals viable, surgeons won't do it before 12-18 months post surgery. |

More specifically, at what angle do you stop having a lap and just have... legs?
Is this the same angle going from standing to sitting? Is there some kind of hysteresis curve to it? |

This would depend on the visual range to the falling tree from the observer. It also depends on terrain inbetween as that will absorb or redirect the sound energy as it travels. Although energy theoretically travels forever, the sound energy could simply attenuate to the point it is below our hearing threshold.
However on a dark night, sound can travel further and our eyes are less likely to see the falling tree so the situation is reversed.
This is obviously removing the option of optic/audio aids. |

According to Cantor (and others) you can have multiple infinities.
However, I'd love to stick a Gödel into that and see what other magick is produced.
