Is county Durham nice to live in? Looking to move for cheaper housing. Thinking bishop Auckland. Any thoughts advice?

beside the sea

There's 2 supermarkets, a castle a spoons ,river wear, roman fort and kynren and a lovely butchers on the main road in and out and plenty of countryside to roam about in . It's like anywhere else rough parts and good parts.

Inside the cathedral there is a huge Lego model of the cathedral. If that's not a reason to move there, I don't know what is.
